This is an exciting opportunity to become part of our new padel club and help build a welcoming, friendly and enjoyable padel community from the ground up.
We are looking for someone who is not only a strong padel player and experienced coach, but also someone who genuinely enjoys helping people improve, gain confidence and, most importantly, have fun on court.
As a self-employed coach, you will have the flexibility and freedom to build and manage your own coaching diary within the club.
What you'll be doing

- Creating an encouraging, safe and enjoyable environment for players to learn.
- Managing your own client base and bookings.
- Promoting your coaching sessions and developing new clients.
- Organising your own coaching schedule and availability.
- Helping to create a friendly and welcoming atmosphere at the club.
- Potentially delivering beginner courses, group sessions, junior coaching and social/coaching events as the club develops.
The majority of coaching opportunities are expected to be Monday–Friday before 4pm, although there may also be opportunities for some evening and weekend sessions depending on demand and your availability.
What we're looking for
We're looking for someone who is:

- Patient and encouraging, particularly with beginners and less confident players.
- Passionate about padel and helping others improve.
- An effective communicator who can explain techniques clearly and simply.
- Reliable, professional and organised.
- Confident working independently and managing their own clients.
- Able to adapt their coaching style to different abilities and personalities.
- Positive and enthusiastic, with a genuine interest in creating a great experience for members.
- Comfortable building relationships and developing their own client base.
Previous coaching experience is essential, ideally within padel, tennis or another relevant racket sport. You will need to hold your own relevant insurances.
The hours
Flexible - primarily Monday to Friday, before 4pm. There may also be opportunities for some evening and weekend sessions depending on demand and your availability.
What we offer
- Flexible, self-employed working arrangement.
- Freedom to manage your own clients, bookings and schedule.
- Access to courts at a brand-new padel facility.
- A friendly and supportive club environment.
- Potential to develop and deliver your own coaching programmes and sessions.
